In November 2025, our group of four friends bought a mas in France.
A mas is a traditional farmhouse in French. The precise build date isn’t known, yet by the fuzzy memory of the previous owner, we settled on 1815.
It has since had several owners, one of which invested a pretty penny to modernize the house’s plumbing, roof, and insulation. The addition of a pool house and massive pool came before us, as well.
Our contribution to the legacy is finalizing its modernization. Between November 2025 and May 2026, we renovated four bathrooms, made the upstairs floor a comfortable and livable space, tiled the pool, and tamed the overgrown garden.
Now, we are ready to open our doors for three months out of the year for vacation rentals.

My name is Emma, and I will be your primary point of contact throughout your booking process and stay.
My hosting philosophy is for guests to feel at home and enjoy the authentic life of a local.
This is a real home, and therefore, comfort and quality are top priorities. You’ll find at your disposal plenty of items that will make you feel like you’re staying in your vacation house rather than a corporate hotel.

Le Mas du Pommier Gentil
Translated, it means the farmhouse of the friendly apple tree. It's tradition to name your house in Provence, and ours is a combined homage to geography and legacy.
My husband’s parents lived 30 years in the foothills of Gordes and named their house the “friendly olive tree.” As our home is nestled within the apple orchards, we dedicate our house to our new region, combining the past with the present.
